Time to sit

I've found a rare occasion to sit and check emails for more than just a rushed few minutes.

I'm sitting in a small courtyard in Skagway, surounded by small touristy shops and a couple of food stalls. It's pretty quiet and I can see out of the open top toward a partly cloudy, but mainly blue sky.

We've just finished the crew lifeboat drill which is just a no-guests rehearsal of the big ship drill that we do every week. Once we get to the short 3 and 4 day cruises, it will be twice a week, which will be even more boring.

I can't wait until we go to Vancouver though because I hear the shopping is very good and I also have some good friends staying there.

Right. now I have to go back to the ship and sort things out before starting work at 3.30pm, after a meeting at 3.

talk soon,

love James
